Toby says, "People should be given the chance to prove themselves hardworking and honest before being allowed into the United States. There should be a collaboration between the American government and foreign governments to determine who should be allowed into the country."
But what about those people trying to escape worn torn or oppressive countries?
Manny asks, "Should illegal immigrants be allowed the same protection and be protected by the same laws as American citizens?"
Molly: "If an illegal immigrant is injured should they be able to go to a hospital and be provided health care?"
Nicoya: "Should an illegal immigrant be allowed to sue for discrimination, or is that cheating taking advantage of the system?"
What about children who are brought here by their parents as an infant? Should they be allowed to stay, or deported once they turn eighteen? (This happened to a girl in Arizona whose parents died and she was deported at eighteen.)
Everyone's involved and has the thinking tank turned way on!

I don't think they should be allowed the same rights as American citizens because they are illegal immigrants, they have no citizenship therefor why should they have the same rights as American citizens? If they have their green card or visa that changes things and of course if there are certain emergencies where it is only right that they deserve certain protection such as hospital care...
