Before we went on our tour of Villa Victoria, we decided to make an unexpected stop. We stopped at the Museum of Afro-American History. We arrived at the museum at 10:15. It was important because we were reminded that the slaves were one of the first ethnic immigrants to come to America after the Europeans. It was important for the slaves to rebel, protest, debate, write in newspapers, and have other people help with the underground railroad. It was a major step in helping the slaves fight for their freedom, which they eventually won.

I learned that people should fight for their rights. It is important to fight for your rights. Things can change when that happens. We are all equal and acts of racism shouldn't happen in this world. But that would only happen in a utopia.
In this museum i was reminded that so many people in our history have done things that effected us in a big way. In the history of the United states there have been many changes! changes such as Slavery, Racism, and more. Going to this museum reminded me of the people who made a diffrence.
